Mini Boot Camp
Mini Boot Camp class helps kids develop core skills as they go through stations in our studio that include agility, strength, flexibility, aerobic training and fun. Even though it’s called Boot Camp, the concentration of the course is building core muscle strength in young boys and girls. All advanced physical activity, including sports, require a high-level of core fitness. Having your child participate has a serious, positive impact on their future. Instructed by Kristina Mykytiuk, a certified fitness, dance and Pilates instructor, boys and girls from ages 7 and above will exercise, lose weight, get fit—along with a healthy diet—and most importantly, have fun! Classes are low-pressure and purposely designed to build self-esteem, confidence and physical fitness in each child, as well as respect for themselves and others. Kids love our classes because each child is taught according to their current natural skill level, which improves over time. Kids are never pressured, instead they are reassured.

Dance

Tumble Bees
This class is designed especially for students ages 2 to 3 years old. These early dancers receive a thorough introduction to movement, coordination, and musicality in a slower paced format and smaller class size than our regular classes. Tumble Bees learn the important foundations of dance classroom etiquette so critical to future successes yet so difficult at this young age such as taking turns, finding and staying in place, listening skills and expression. Tumble Bee students are often leaving their parents or care providers to participate in a classroom setting for the first time, and special care is taken to ensure this is done so smoothly and positively.

Ballet / Tumble
This class works nursery rhythms and songs right into the ballet portion and teaches them basic ballet steps. The second half of class is tumbling, where they work on coordinating strength moves and balances such as front tuck rolls and back tuck rolls. (Ages 3- 4 years)

Ballet / Tap
All the discipline of the ballet portion, with the rhythm and noise of tap! Basic tap moves are put together with upbeat music to teach the dancers to move in time.

Ballet
The study of classical Ballet concentrates on balance, grace and flexibility. Each level building upon the previous to expand the dancers movement vocabulary and technique.

Each level increases in difficulty by challenging the student with more complicated combinations and footwork.

Jazz
Your dancer will enjoy studying classic jazz. They will be working on strengthening exercises, as well as balance, flexibility and rhythm. All set to a variety of music from musical theater, to blues, to funk.

Beginner: This class has a stand and sit warm-up to ensure the children are stretched and do not hurt themselves throughout the class. The students will go across the floor and do combinations. Basic jazz technique will be mixed in. (Ages 4-5)

Intermediate: This class has a little bit everything — Broadway, funk and contemporary. A proper warm-up is a must and always adds technique. Combinations are packed with turns, jumps and leaps and lots of fun. (Ages 6-11)

Hip Hop
A style of dance which evolved out of street dancing styles and is showcased in today’s popular music videos. This is an athletic, bouncy and funky type of dance, but above all, it’s fun! (Ages 4 and up)
