Asana Yoga offers a friendly and welcome approach to help beginners learn about yoga and get the most out of their practice. Regardless of level, age, and stage of life, private lessons provide the perfect setting to address your individual goals and needs. Our teachers will introduce you to the fundamentals of yoga postures and breathing techniques, selecting postures that meet your specific needs and offer hands on adjustments to ensure that you develop a safe and beneficial yoga practice.

 

YOGA ETIQUETTE

  • Please wear comfortable, loose clothing that will allow for movement.
  • Remove shoes prior to entering the studio and place them in the shoe cubbies or lockers located in our locker rooms. Bare feet are recommended for all Yoga sessions.
  • Empty Stomach. Limit food intake to at least 2 hours prior to the start of the session to ensure you receive all the benefits of your practice.
  • Please refrain from wearing any fragrant perfumes, colognes, or oils, as others in class may have allergies.
  • Be sure to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class so that we may begin on time. Our door will be locked when class begins, so please be on time.
  • If you arrive more than 5 minutes after the start of class, please wait outside the studio door to be admitted by the instructor.
  • Use quiet voices within the studio space. If the instructor has allowed you to enter after the start of class, please prepare your practice space with minimal disturbance to your fellow students.
  • Please bring your own mat. You may rent a mat from Asana for $1.
  • Drinking water before and after class is strongly encouraged for proper hydration and improved metabolism. Feel free to bring your own water bottle. You can refill from our purified water.
  • No food or open containers will be permitted in the yoga room.
  • Please silence cell phones for the sake of your practice and the respect of others.
  • Please inform the instructor of any pre-existing injuries or individual conditions.

FEE POLICIES

  • Session Passes are not refundable or transferable and may not be shared.
  • 1-year membership may be frozen for a maximum 2 months (or 2 times for a month).
  • Session packages begin on the day of the first class taken.
  • Private and Semi-Private Sessions: Pre-payment is required. Students must cancel 24 hours in advance. Cancellations without 24 hours are charged in full.
